I usually don't get too excited when software or web applications get updated but that's different in this case. Azrul Studios who are the makers of "MyBlog" and JomComment have just released the latest updates to these two great extensions.

When we installed MyBlog on our first Joomla System running 1.5.x we realized that certain functionality that was inplace with the Joomla 1.0.x version, wasn't available. This is understandable because the Joomla community is in the process of slowly progressing towards 1.5.x and many companies are going to have to go through the same process as Azrul Studios did.

We have tried out both of these new versions and we're happy to say that just about every item that most users wanted to implemented, are now part of the Myblog/JomComment system.

All the content plugins now work, which was a big draw back on the last version of Myblog. The editors have obviously beeen reworked, the integration is much cleaner, and over all we have to say they did a spectacular job taking this software to the next level. Feedburner is now an option as well which shows they're staying with the pulse of time.

If you're a blogger and are looking for a solution that integrates perfectly with Joomla, MyBlog and JomComment are a must.
