Nowadays it seems as if every day some new type of miniature invention gets revealed which revolutionizes a certain niche of technology. With so many things hitting the news wire at all times, the developing theme with everyone is "how do you keep up with all this?" The truth is nobody does. Sure there are sites such as mashable.com and others that do a rather good job of covering all aspects of online technology, which innovations to watch out for, and how these innovations can and are influencing are lives but keeping up with with them is also like trying to read two books a day - it's just not happening.

If you're like me, then you think very carefully what type of network you want to build on Twitter. I actually have two accounts, because I have two entirely separate areas of interest. One is concentrated on web development, blogging and other technical things more related to my company, the other profile pertains only to my activities as a dj and producer and the network I'm building there reflects this.

Mozilla is working on a new project called "Bespin". According to their website it is

a Mozilla Labs experiment on how to build an extensible Web code editor using HTML 5 technology.

I just signed up to check it out and it seems pretty cool. If the code for this were released to the public, developers could have this technology and build their own coding servers that would be accessible remotely. I'll post more information on this when I've tried it out a bit more.

We find it astonishing that so many of our clients and associates are still playing the game of remembering all their passwords in their head. On the one hand, with today's technology there's most likely very little chance anyone's going to hack your brain (we think), on the other hand our brains usually have a hard time remembering 12 digits character combinations made up of letters, numbers and odd characters. The result of this is that most people pick a rather easy to remember password for everything they use.

If you haven't heard about Drop Box, it's time you head on over to www.getdropbox.com and sign up for a free account. Free accounts come with 2GB of storage space and all the features premium accounts have, the only difference to premium accounts is the fact that you get more storage.

No idea what twitter is? Neither did I until recently. A business partner of mine, Jim Spencer made me aware of this relatively new and unique communications and marketing tool. If you go to their website you'll see a quote that reads that twitter is comparable to many other things that people don't "get" at first. I have to admit I had the exact same thing happen to me. I heard about it, checked it out and wondered why anyone even signed up to it.
